Dancing Robot Productions is a new independent production company specialising in exploring society, culture, and politics for under 25-year-olds who want to better understand how the world works, and how they fit into it.
We believe in creating content that's accessible, informative and engaging.
Dancing Robot Productions was founded by the multiple award-winning journalist Daniel Rosney, after more than a decade presenting, reporting and producing at BBC News.
In 2021 Daniel won the Gold Award for Best News Programme at the Radio Academy ARIA's for '100 Days of Lockdown', a programme he produced three months into the Covid-19 pandemic. The judges said: "50 years from now people will be able to listen to this audio and immediately understand what we went through in 2020".
That same year he won Bronze for Best New Presenter for his work covering the Covid-19 pandemic, holding senior politicians to account, as well as covering the 2020 US Election presenting programmes from Lousiana and Texas.
Daniel has produced and presented radio and TV programmes all over the world including: Gaza, India, Bangladesh, USA, Israel, Spain and Poland.
"Daniel is one of the most deceptively tenacious journalists around. He's always a joy to work with, enthusiastic and creative. In his engaging storytelling he's continuously aware of the most important thing: the audience."
"Daniel is creative, reliable with a thorough grasp of different audiences. He knows the news agenda and always has ideas about how to turn stories into compelling content – for all platforms. He’s particularly skilled at engaging young audiences."
